The Reytons are taking their story back to where it began. The Rotherham indie-rock band have announced a major homecoming concert at Clifton Park for Saturday 10 July 2027, marking ten years since their formation.

The announcement follows their landmark 2024 appearance at the same venue, when around 20,000 people gathered in the park. Clifton Park is more than a concert location for the band: it is part of the landscape celebrated in their music, including Kids Off The Estate.

The return comes after another significant year for the independently minded group. Their album A Love Letter to a Broken Town reached UK Number One, a milestone Imminent Infinity covered earlier this year. This new show offers another measure of how far they have travelled without losing their connection to Rotherham.

That independence is part of a wider story. In our look at guitar music’s different routes into the charts, we explored how bands are finding success on their own terms.

For a band whose appeal has always been rooted in community and working-class identity, playing to thousands on home ground feels like a statement in its own right. The 2024 concert also brought an economic boost to the town, according to local reporting.

When do tickets go on sale?

General sale begins at 10am on Friday 6 November 2026. Fans can check the band’s official website for ticket information.
