Imminent Infinity is an independent music publication built around real listening, real opinion and the perspective of musicians and producers.

Reviews and scores

Album and live reviews represent the genuine opinion of the credited writer. Scores are subjective editorial judgments. We do not promise a particular score or positive coverage in exchange for access, products, press material or other consideration.

Reviews should explain their verdict through specific songs, performances, arrangements and production choices. Where a review captures a first listen, we identify it as a first impression. A preference for a genre is distinguished from criticism of the recording itself. Recording methods and production credits require reliable sources; they are not established by listening alone.

Press copies, guest lists and access

Artists, labels, PR companies or promoters may provide music, press materials, tickets, accreditation or other access for editorial consideration. Where a commercial relationship could materially affect how readers understand a piece, we will disclose it clearly.

Sponsored and affiliate content

Paid-for or sponsored material will be clearly distinguished from independent editorial content. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed where relevant. Commercial arrangements do not buy favourable editorial opinion.

Accuracy and corrections

We aim to distinguish fact from opinion and to use reliable sources for factual claims. If we discover a material factual error, we will correct it. Requests for corrections can be sent through the Contact page with the article URL and details of the issue.

Music submissions

Artists, bands, labels and PR representatives may submit music or press information through the Contact page. Submission does not guarantee listening, reply, publication, review or inclusion in a playlist or Grassroots feature. Please send links rather than unsolicited large attachments unless requested.

By submitting press materials, you confirm that you are entitled to provide them for editorial consideration. Do not assume that photographs or artwork may be republished unless the supplied licence or permission allows it; where appropriate, include photographer or rights-holder credit and usage information.

Independence

Imminent Infinity may also publish material connected with music-making and studio culture. Where there is a relevant business, personal or creative connection that readers would reasonably need to understand the coverage, we will disclose it.
