Fontaines D.C. have announced a special show at London’s Roundhouse on Thursday 15 October 2026, raising money for suicide-prevention charity CALM on the eve of their new album’s release.
The Irish band’s fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, arrives on Friday 16 October. Before that, they’ll step into the considerably more intimate surroundings of the Camden venue for a show with a purpose beyond the usual album-launch excitement.
A Smaller Room, a Bigger Cause
Net proceeds from the performance will go to Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), the charity working to prevent suicide and support people who are struggling. It’s a meaningful choice of partner for a band whose songs have never shied away from unease or difficult emotions.
Fontaines D.C. have grown into an act capable of commanding much larger stages. The Roundhouse setting offers a different prospect: hearing the new era begin in a room where the music can feel immediate and close.
How the Ticket Ballot Works
Tickets are being allocated through a ballot rather than a standard first-come-first-served sale. Fans must register by 3pm BST on Saturday 10 October. Successful registrants are due to receive purchase codes by midday on Monday 12 October, with ticket purchasing opening at 2pm that day. Registration does not guarantee a ticket, and receiving a code does not guarantee a purchase.
Full details and ballot registration are available on the official Roundhouse event page.
A Busy Week for Fontaines D.C.
The show arrives at a pivotal moment for the band, whose earlier single “Marianne” reached the independent singles top five, with Dopamine Chamber following a run of increasingly ambitious releases. We’ve already covered their unsettling single “Tongue”, and this performance will offer an early opportunity to hear how the next chapter translates to the stage.
It’s the combination of an important cause, a relatively small venue and a new record arriving the following morning that makes this more than another tour-date announcement.
