Factory Floor are back with their first album in ten years. The London electronic group have announced One Trip, a ten-track record due digitally on 27 November 2026 through Phantasy Sound, and shared the double single Continuation / One Trip.

It is the group’s first studio album since 2016’s 25 25 and their first with the current line-up: original members Nik Colk Void and Gabe Gurnsey alongside percussionist Joe Ward.

A return built around playing together

Factory Floor’s re-emergence began at Montréal’s MUTEK festival in 2024. After years spent on separate projects, that performance renewed the group’s interest in the physical connection between musicians, the room and the audience.

That shared energy sits at the centre of the new material. Continuation opens up a more expansive, euphoric side of the trio, while the title track moves towards the darker, insistent pulse associated with their most uncompromising dancefloor work.

Where guitars and electronic experimentation meet

Factory Floor have never fitted neatly into one scene. Their combination of repetition, percussion and abrasive electronic textures has made them an intriguing presence between alternative music and club culture. A decade after their last album, One Trip offers a chance to hear how that approach has changed.

The band will also support Squid at London’s Barbican on 5 December, presenting a new live show. The digital album release is scheduled for 27 November. Physical editions are also available to pre-order.

One Trip will be released by Phantasy Sound. The singles Continuation and One Trip are available now.
